The floods that Chennai saw in December 2015 were a big wake-up call for everyone – Citizens and the Government. This report is an outcome of the common citizen’s effort to understand our waterways, the link these have with the floods in each area, and the solutions required to both protect our waterbodies as well as to make the area floodproof.
