The source of the data published here is from the affidavit filed by the candidate uploaded by the election commission in the website https://affidavit.eci.gov.in . This app is not a Government entity. This app is an effort by Arappor Iyakkam to create awareness amongst citizens about the list of all candidates contesting in their constituency. This app is an effort towards informed citizenry before going out to vote. This app informs citizens about the education, assets, income and criminal antecedents for each of the candidate contesting in their constituency for the state of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
Disclaimer: This app is for non-commercial purposes with the sole aim of creating awareness amongst citizens. If you notice any discrepancy between the affidavit filed by the candidate and our data, please notify us through a message to our email contact@arappor.org. We will correct them as soon as possible.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Know Your Candidate – Arappor App
